I don’t believe in flings, so they all spanned long years.
Any particular reason why you don’t like flings?
Because they are meaningless and temporary.
And when was your first relationship?
When I was in 8th grade.
So was it love at first sight?
We were in school together. We met at prom night and he asked me for a dance. So yeah, you can say that it was love at first sight. He used to be a hot chocolate boy back then.
Were you guys serious?
I’m sure it started off as mere infatuation, but eventually it did take a mature turn when we started to grow up. We were together for three years after that.
How was the first kiss?
Pretty good. Haha! We just went with the flow.
Then why did you separate?
I guess we weren’t mature enough to continue the relationship in any meaningful way.
So what were the un-meaningful things you guys were doing?
Over-possessiveness. Obsessive behaviour. Immaturity – It was making me claustrophobic.
And how did you meet the second guy?
Through common friends. It was a mature relationship because we continued to be together inspite of all the misunderstandings and fights, and the fact that we were different, but again over-possessiveness killed it. We also had different outlooks, but the third one was the most interesting. You want to ask me about him too?
Of course…
He was from London. When we first met in Kolkata, he fell head over heels for me. Even when he would be travelling across continents, he would fly down, have dinner with me and then go back the next day. I was madly in love with him.
And how was your first sexual encounter?
My first time was so hot that it would burn the pages of your magazine.
So what’s your current relationship status?
I’m waiting to be impressed. We should be somewhat similar in thought and I wouldn’t mind someone with a six-pack.
