What made you decide to start O3+ and how did you take your brand to the market?

 

Salon industry started getting organized in 2002 as multinational hair brands entered in India and used our platform for entering in salon market and this showed us as a vacuum and need in skin care in the segment. We started with the strategy of training and focus marketing of the services. This was the gap which we saw and we forward.

 

Tell us a bit about your background with men’s grooming and skincare. Do you feel that men are finally beginning to take their ‘grooming’ seriously? What do you think impelled this change?

 

O3 plus saw the need for men care 10 years back which made us launch DTAN SHAVE because shave was getting out of salons and people thought shave as a non-respectable service. O3 plus came with a motive to enhance shave as a skin care service. Skin care was something they were not open therefore, we launched DTAN shave service which made the clients happy.

 

Wedding season is coming. What’s in store for the brides?
