After Pathaan and Adipurush, the next film that everyone is looking forward to is ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. Today, on June 20, the makers of the film released its teaser, which looks worth the hype. The whole teaser gives the essence of the old Dharma film for which Karan Johar is known, but this time on a very large scale with strong VFX and beautiful cinematography.
The teaser’s length of one minute and sixteen seconds demonstrates that this time, Karan Johar has gone all out in terms of scope and budget to provide spectators with a complete cinematic experience. The whole teaser for the film does not have a single line of dialogue. Instead, they have used a BGM and the ‘Tum Kya Mile’ song, which again shows the capability of Johar in terms of direction.
Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi will be seen playing a major part in the film.
The teaser begins with a single shot of Rocky aka Ranveer Singh dancing in a beautiful setting, possibly at a family event, with Rani aka Alia Bhatt standing behind them in a picturesque setting. The backup dancer is dressed in ethnic garb. She posed in front of the snow-covered mountains while dressed in a pink sari. The next set of photos featured close-ups of Alia and Ranveer posing both inside and outside in their designer best.
Further in the teaser, there are many other scenes in which you will see the couple romancing, fighting, celebrating festivals, break downs, and possibly a wedding. The teaser also gave a glimpse of the remaining characters of the film like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

The teaser is looking good, and the chemistry between Singh and Bhatt will be the USP of the film. Now, it has to be seen how the film will go with the story (which is still unveiled) and how it will progress with such a huge ensemble and senior big-star cast. Will it become modern K3G or just be known as the next Kalank?
After dropping off the teaser of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, it received mostly positive reviews and viewers are actually loving the teaser. One user commented, “This is giving those classic old-school Bollywood Vibes.” Another User Commented, “This teaser perfectly depicts what Bollywood is all about.”. Netizens’ expectations from Bollywood Films is again taken a front seat. In honour of Karan Johar’s 25 years as a director, Shah Rukh Khan, who has worked with him on several films including My Name Is Khan, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gham, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, also praises the teaser and writes, “Need more films only you can do.”

Let us tell you Karan Johar is back in the direction with RARKPK after 7 years. His last directed film was ‘Ae Dil Hain Mushkil’ and this film will be the second collaboration of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt after 2019, Gully Boy. Rocky And Rani Ki Prem Kahaani will hit the screen on 28th July 2023 worldwide.
