WHAT’S ANNOYING and WHAT’S NOT?

Sizzling sports anchor Sarah-Jayne Bedford spills the beans on men who cry, dance like MithunDa and wear red pants…

Too much of sex talk: Foreplay is one of the most important factors in sex and if you are going to talk it up, then you better be able to deliver.

Calling too often: I like a man who has a little mysterious streak and gives me a chance to miss him. If he calls throughout the day, especially when I’m asleep or working, it could only mean two things – either he does not trust me or he doesn’t have a life of his own.

Crying: A man who is not afraid to express himself is good as it shows he has a sensitive side to him, but at the same time if we are fighting and my man bursts out at a public place like a restaurant or theatre it creates a scene and makes me uncomfortable. It also makes me wonder if he is man enough.

Too much of PDA: It makes me uncomfortable, especially when out with friends or socialising. I like a man who can stand by my side without being over-expressive.

Cute baby talk: It’s an absolute turn off for me. It’s my pet peeve and should never ever happen if he wants to continue dating me.

Being too accommodating: It is important to make adjustments in a relationship and still be yourself and have time for yourself.

Being extra friendly with my friends and family:It’s fine as long as his affections are genuine. However, we both should have our own group of friend. This way if things go bad, there won’t be a custody battle over a friend circle.

A pre-mature proposal: I wear my heart on my sleeve. If he happens to propose way in advance, it only shows how out of sync he is with me.

Pelvic moves on the dance floor: There is something very sexy about a man who can dance and a man who can’t, but yet makes the effort to is even sexier. As long as he is on the floor making an effort and not mimicking Mithun, he can move the way he likes.

Verbal diarrhea: If I have a hangover, I don’t want to hear him babble at all.

Smartphones: I like keeping my phone away during movies, lunch dates or dinner. I really get annoyed when at such times, my man’s busy on his BlackBerry. Also, you know it’s time for a break up when he answers the phone during a fight.

On hair gel: I am not a fan of hair gel. I prefer naturally wild, unkempt hair at all times.

Idiotic boxers: I love superheroes and comics. The more idiotic the boxers, the more intrigued I am by the guy.

Tattoo: I love a man who has tattoos, especially if it’s a coded script or is something symbolic to him.

On red pants, pink shirt and excessive grooming: There’s nothing wrong in being well-groomed, but it could be annoying if our salon appointments clash. Even red pants are fine if the guy can carry them off.

“EVEN RED PANTS ARE FINE IF THE GUY CAN CARRY THEM OFF. ”
