Ferrari is not just any other carmaker. They know the art as well as the business of making cars, better than anyone else. And this shows the moment you sit inside the 488 GTB.
2. Inside the 488 GTB
Gleeful terror. That’s the emotion that one is bequeathed with when one sits behind the wheel of this Italian thoroughbred for the first time. The F12 and the GTC4 Lusso are GT cars. They are meant for fast and long, but still luxurious road trips. Not the 488. The moment you take a good hard look at the cabin, you realise that this wild beast was designed for the track. It is unmistakably a part of the new generation of Ferraris, with the steering wheel and the gauge cluster commanding all the attention
3. Exquisite Materials Like Leather and Carbon Fibre
The cabin is very spacious, and wherever your sight goes, you will find only premium materials, like leather and carbon fibre. On the exterior, the creases, the scoops and the vents, all point that it was designed in a wind tunnel, to exploit the colossal firepower that the 3.9 liter twin turbocharged V8 engine generates.
4. The Turbocharged Engine makes the 488 GTB a rare Ferrari

5. The driving experience
Tie all the figures up, and you have a car that will hit the triple digit mark in less than three seconds. What’s more impressive is the fact that this car is capable of hitting 200 kmph in about eight seconds. Not that you can actually get it up to that speed, thanks to the woeful condition of most of our highways and roads. But get it in its natural habitat, a race track or anything that closely resembles the velvety smooth roads of the Autostrada and you can go north of 320 kmph, says Ferrari.
