Alia Bhatt To Sing For Sadak 2
Alia Bhatt has done playback in her movies Highway, Badrinath Ki Dhulania and Udta Punjab and the on-screen character has now recorded a scratch variant of a romantic track for her upcoming film Sadak 2.
The movie denotes her first joint effort with dad Mahesh Bhatt, who is coming back to the executive's seat following two decades.
Alia recorded the melody with writer Jeet Ganguly prior this week.
Taking to internet based life, Alia shared an image of her content as she begins preparing up for the second calendar of the film in Ooty. The group has officially finished the main timetable of the shoot in the third seven day stretch of May in Mumbai.
“While Jeet Gannguly’s score is ready, the lyrics are still being worked upon. Jeet da wanted to understand Alia’s pitch and voice modulation, so they decided to record the scratch. The lyrics will now be rewritten under the supervision of Mahesh Bhatt. “It is a romantic number and comes at a crucial point in the film. The final track will be recorded only after the unit returns from their Ooty schedule in August,” the makers said in a statement.
Also featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt the film is scheduled to release in July next year.
Sadak 2 is the continuation of the hit 1991 film Sadak, a sentimental spine chiller, which highlighted Pooja and Sanjay. It was one of the most elevated netting Hindi films of 1991 with a well known melodic score. Late Sadashiv Amrapurkar's honour winning execution as the lowlife, Maharani won hearts is as yet one of the unequalled best trouble makers in Bollywood. The film was inspired by the 1976 American motion picture Taxi Driver.
Now, it will be exciting to see that will the actress prove her mettle once again as a singer in the film.
