Channing Tatum Dons The Director’s Hat!
Channing Tatum is all set to add another feather to his cap. The actor is soon going to make his directorial debut with a comedy movie ‘Dog’. The film will be a road trip comedy about a former Army Ranger and his dog.
In the movie, Channing will be seen playing the role of former Army Ranger Briggs who is set on a road trip down the Pacific Coast to attend his best friend's funeral with his Belgian Malinois dog Lulu.
Channing will co-direct, produce, write and star in the movie alongside producer Reid Carolin and Gregory Jacobs. According to the initial reports about the project, the movie will see Channing and his dog going down a road trip where they will break laws, escape death at the hands of aggressive marijuana farmers and lots of other crazy shenanigans as they head to Pacific Coast to attend his best friend's funeral, who is also Lulu’s former handler. The filming of the movie is expected to begin in spring 2020.
Besides this, Channing will also be starring and producing Soundtrack of Silence with Paramount Pictures. The movie is about Matt Hay, a college student, who is losing his ability to hear and how he wants to capture the sounds and music that are slipping away.
Channing was last seen in Kingsman: The Golden Circle in 2017. He also lent his voice for the character of Superman in The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part that came out earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Channing also announced his plans to shift his base from Los Angeles to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk with his girlfriend, Jessie J.
