Daniel Craig Hangs His 'Bond' Boots
The name is Bond, James Bond - if there ever was a dialogue that made generations came together, then it has to be this one. Right from Sean Connery to Pierce Brosnan to now, Daniel Craig, this iconic one-liner has ensured some amazing movies and action sequences to the movie-lovers all across the world. And looks like we will be seeing a new Bond soon. In a recent interview at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the host asked Daniel, “Are you done with Bond?” and breaking millions of heart, the latter replied, “Yes, it's done.”
His plans to leave the hit franchise behind were also made clear when, a few days before this interview, he said, “Someone else needs to have a go,” regarding his role.
Daniel has already finished shooting for the 25th Bond movie, his last one as James Bond, No Time to Die earlier this year. This will be his 5th appearance as the iconic spy, 007. He first starred as Bond in 2005 film Casino Royale, which was followed by Quantum of Solace in 2008, Skyfall in 2012 and Spectre in 2015.
Daniel has made his intentions to end his term as James Bond after wrapping up the film earlier this year. He said, “This may be hard to believe but I love the fact I'm Bond. We're in rare air, making Bond movies. It is one of the most intense, fulfilling things I've ever done, but it takes a lot of energy and I'm getting old. I'm getting creaky.”
No Time To Die will hit the theatres in April 2020.
After Sean and Pierce, Daniel Craig is, without any doubts, one of the most famous and widely loved actor to have portrayed the role of the iconic spy. It is safe to say that the next 007 has some huge shoes to fill!
