The First Look Of Ranveer Singh’s Next Is Out

Jayeshbhai Jordaar

Ranveer Singh has been the indisputable king of Bollywood with his unmatchable acting talent that he showcased in movies like Bajirao Mastani, Padmavat and Gully Boy. The way this actor moulds himself in each character he plays not only shows his skills but also his dedication and commitment towards his profession. After his last string of hits, the man of the hour is back with what looks like another feather in his cap! Ranveer recently shared the first look of his upcoming movie - Jayeshbhai Jordaar on all his social media platforms. The first look of the film shows a stupefied Ranveer, who seems to be guarding and protecting a bunch of ladies. It has been reported that he will be playing a Gujarati man in the film.
He shared the look on his social media accounts with the caption - “Jayeshbhai hain ekdum jordaar!
The film reportedly talks about the judgements and prejudices society holds and hurls against women and how Ranveer, as an ordinary man, does something extraordinary to help them.
While talking about his character in the upcoming movie, Ranveer said, “As Charlie Chaplin once said, 'To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it!' Jayeshbhai is an unlikely hero - an ordinary man, who ends up doing something extraordinary when he's hurled into a threatening situation. Jayeshbhai is sensitive and compassionate. He believes in equal rights between men and women in a society that is deeply rooted in patriarchal ideals, practices and doctrines.”
He further added, “Jayeshbhai presented an exciting challenge - to deconstruct myself in order to transform into a kind of character I’ve never inhabited before.”
The first look of the movie shows that Ranveer has lost a considerable amount of weight for his role.
The film is being directed and written by Divyang Thakkar.
Ranveer will also be seen in the movie 83, which is based on the historic cricket world cup win by India.
