Gulabo Sitabo's Release Date Unveiled

Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film Gulabo Sitabo will release on April 24 one year from now. The movie, coordinated by Shoojit Sircar, was earlier expected to hit the venues in November this year.

The motion picture, set in Lucknow, is charged as an eccentric family drama, written by Sircar's long-term colleague Juhi Chaturvedi. They have worked together for Vicky Donor, Piku and his last directorial adventure October.

Sircar said he and Chaturvedi were busy with the content for quite a while and are happy enough that everything fell set up with the two on-screen characters. “... As we all know when Juhi comes up with a story it has her trademark quirk in it. As soon as I read it I was extremely excited and shared it with Ronnie, my dear friend and producer and to both Mr Bachchan and Ayushmann at the same time. “I thought it would take some time to develop and proceed but everyone including the duo were so enthusiastic to do this script, that they figured their dates and here we are, planning to release it this year,” the director said in a statement.

Gulabo Sitabo is a fun conversational similitude utilised by local people, he included. Khurrana said it is a blessing from heaven for him to be at last working with Bachchan, his golden calf.

“It’s really a surreal moment for me. It’s a moment that I have always wished for ever since the time I wanted to become an actor but now that I’m going to finally act with him, I think it’s going to be extremely overwhelming for me. It’s a real honour for me as an actor to be able to go through this experience and an incredibly proud moment as an artiste that Shoojit da thought of taking me in this film that has an icon like Bachchan sir. I’m excited to start this journey and become a better actor in the process.”

Ayushmann collaborates with Sircar after 2012 hit Vicky Donor, which was the actor's introduction in Bollywood. Sircar has recently directed Bachchan in Piku. Gulabo Sitabo is created by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.
