Ranveer Singh Trains With Kapil Dev For 83
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has started preparing for the upcoming film, '83. Ranveer shared two new pictures from the training camp, set up in Dharamshala. The photos show him somewhere down in discussion with former cricketer Kapil Dev, whom Ranveer will play in the film about the Indian group's longshot win at the 1983 cricket World Cup.
The primary picture, in which both Kapil and Ranveer are wearing blue Indian jersey, demonstrates the two strolling on the field, with the Dhauladar in the backdrop. Ranveer as captioned the picture, “Becoming the Hurricane,” alluding to Kapil's name who was affectionately called 'The Haryana Hurricane'.
The second picture is similar, however, gives a closer look at the two, as Kapil makes a motion. Ranveer subtitled this picture, "Legend," all in capital letters.
Ranveer and the rest of the film's cast are being prepared by Balwinder Singh Sandhu for the movie.
Ranveer said in a recent interview, “Ballu sir, as we call him, is an amazing coach. I train with him for four hours everyday in Mumbai. I focus on my bowling and do a lot of physio. I’m doing better in batting because from my childhood, I’ve had a natural ability for it. I’m a good fielder too. But I need to work particularly hard on my bowling.”
Apart from Ranveer, the upcoming venture also features R Badree, Hardy Sandhu, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar in important roles. Furthermore, ‘83 is directed by Kabir Khan who is well-known for helming films including Ek Tha Tiger and Tubelight. The movie will go on floors in the month of May this year. Also, Ranveer recently gave back-to-back hits like Simmba and Gully Boy.
