Trailer of horror anthology 'Ghost Stories' Is Out

If the idea of slow creaking doors, abandoned houses, creepy dolls and spooky tales gives you a certain high and happiness, then you’d surely love Netflix’s upcoming horror anthology, Ghost Stories. The trailer of Ghost Stories is out and it will surely leave you all spooked. It will be an anthology of four scary, horror stories that will be directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee. The four directors have previously worked together on Bombay Talkies and Lust Stories, which was also a Netflix production. 
Releasing the trailer on a seemingly perfect day, Friday the 13th, Karan Johar shared the trailer of the movie on social media with the post, “Friday the 13th would be incomplete without some chills, thrills and of course an absolute spook-fest... presenting the trailer of Ghost Stories! Coming 1st Jan! #YourFearsWillFindYou.”
Besides a star-studded directorial panel, the anthology film will also see the debut of Janhvi Kapoor on the web platform, Mrunal Thakur and Sobhita Dhulipala. 
The 2.18 seconds trailer starts with Karan Johar’s section from the film that features Mrunal Thakur and Avinash Tiwary on their wedding night. The couple gets disturbed in the bedroom as the door creaks open and Avinash turns to talk to his granny who is revealed to be dead. 
In Zoya Akhtar’s story, Janhvi Kapoor is seen playing a nurse who takes care of an elderly patient that is being played by actress Surekha Sikri. 
Sobhita Dhulipala will feature in Anurag Kashyap’s segment as a pregnant lady where a child is shown worried if his aunt (Sobhita) will continue to love him the same when she has her own child. The scary background score and the disturbing visuals of the trailer will surely give you goosebumps. 
Ghost Stories will be available on Netflix from January 1, 2020.
