You have trained celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Maniesh Paul, and now Shraddha Kapoor. Do you find yourself learning from your students? 
My trainees have taught me how to be disciplined and focused. On a regular day I push myself beyond 16 hours of work, and when I am tired I always think about them and push myself further to give my best. Another thing I learnt is, despite being so popular and having such big market value they are always grounded and polite.

What is the most common fitness goal of your celebrity clients? 
Although there are several different requirements of my clients, as far as celebrities are concerned, most of them come with the fitness goal of having a flat abdomen, lean face and a pleasing aesthetic look. I aim at helping them achieve the same.

Each body has its own potential and limitation. How do you make sure each person’s training plan is truly personalised? 
We do a detailed fitness assessment with every person, which is based on their muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, as well as flexibility and core strength. The workout plan is programmed around that. A detailed assessment of their food history, and past or current health requirements, helps in programming the nutrition plan. 

There are many fitness and dietary trends that are discussed in detail on the Internet these days. According to you, how can one decide what suits them best? 
It all depends on the goal of the person and the current phase they are in. However, if fitness enthusiasts want to explore more about working out in a gym and want to know about dietary trends, then it is completely based on the calculation of macronutrients.

Fitness is a constantly evolving process. What changes have you seen in the health industry so far? 
I believe fitness has no bar and no age restrictions for beginners. It is something that can be done by anyone, from10 years to 90 years. There are various programmes such as TRX, ViPR, Piloxing, Strong Zumba, CrossFit, Pilates and more, which have evolved in the last five to eight years. I believe it’s growing year by year. We at BodyProCoach believe that no single training regimen is perfect. We combine weight training with core strengthening and high-intensity training programmes for our members to help them evolve into the fittest version of themselves. From personal and group training, to a variety of effective classes, there are so many options available here to help you reach your individual fitness goals.

What is that one thing that makes your fitness regimen complete?
Strength and conditioning along with Reformer Pilates make my fitness regimen complete. 

What training principles do you live by, in your personal life? 
Discipline and consistency is the key to success in my opinion. 

Fitness trainers are often seen recommending supplements, but nutritionists are against the practice. Since you are involved on both sides, what is your take on building a body with the help of protein powders? 
I personally believe there is no need to have protein supplements if you have a really well calculated organic macro dense nutrition plan. In the case of people who are vegan, I do advise plant-based protein powders as their sources of protein become extremely less and it thus becomes challenging. Furthermore, protein acts as an immunity booster and helps faster recovery.

These days, social media is an influential but time-consuming platform. How convenient do you find it for your business?
I feel social media is a great platform. We have our own BodyProCoach channel on YouTube, where we have posted more than 250 videos on training and nutrition. Apart from YouTube, other mediums like Instagram, Twitter etc., help you connect with like-minded people, which is very important for overall well-being.

What kind of diet plan would you suggest for the foodies, especially during the festive season, so that they can eat good and look good at the same time?
I highly recommend intermittent fasting and Keto diet. It does not restrict you from eating any of your favourite snacks or desserts. One such dessert recipe is Keto Chocolate Mousse, you should definitely try it, festive season or not.

FROM EXPERT'S CORNER

Keto Chocolate Mousse 
Ingredients
Dark chocolate: 1 unit
Stevia powder: ½ tbsp
Fresh cream: 50 ml

Method 
In a container, melt 4-5 pieces of chocolate. Add ½ tablespoon stevia powder and fresh cream to it. Now blend everything nicely so that a thick creamy texture is formed. Refrigerate the mixture for 2-3 hours. Top it up with almonds and walnuts. Your perfect treat is ready.
