Apple announces iPhone 7 release date!

Get ready to sell your kidneys again!

Apple has put the rumours to end by announcing the date for the release of its new iPhone. The company has sent media invites to all the media houses for an event on September 7. And we suppose that it’s for the launch of the new iPhone.

First thing first, it will be called iPhone 7. And it is rumoured to come in three versions, namely iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro. It is also rumoured that Apple Watch (2nd Gen) too will be unveiled at the event.

The size: The regular iPhone 7 will be a 4.7 inch screener, while the other two will be 5.5 inchers.

Storage: It is rumoured that Apple is about to ditch the base 16GB variant for the 32GB model. There are now gonna be three options of 32GB, 128GB and the all new 256GB.

Camera and headphone jack: There are also reports that suggest of dual rear camera options in the iPhone 7. The tech giants are also upgrading the camera as leaked images have shown bigger lens.
As far as the headphone jack is concerned, it seems that Apple is about to do away with it. It will be a big design change if that’s true.

Screen: Apple is in talks with Samsung over supplying the OLED screens, so we might see an upgrade from LED to OLED screens in the iPhone 7.

Waterproof, finally! Apple is rumoured to be working on a new compound material that repels water in its new phone.
