FHM: First things first, how do you manage such a washboard midriff?
Elena Fernandes: (Laughs) Lot of hard work! I have always been quite athletic growing up and I mix up my training regime with MFT daily to ensure my body is constantly challenged.
We are jealous! What exercises do you do? What’s the secret?
Thank you for the compliment but I have to say it’s not a secret anymore. I follow Stud training by MFT, Harrison James. We work on the core in every session, which is every day and we do a lot of crunches, sides, sit-ups. Trust me, this washboard stomach does not come easy. Every session is a different way of doing these exercises and it keeps the fun factor high and stops me from getting bored. I won’t even get started on how I jump onto a car tyre in squat position to keep my butt in shape. The best thing is I can eat whatever I want, chocolate and pizza included... It doesn’t go to the hips!
