The Beast is to return to UFC?

At UFC 214, Jon Jones, arguably the greatest fighter in Mixed Martial Arts, took on the Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and knocked him out cold. It was an amazing performance by the former Light Heavyweight champion who had never lost his title but had been stripped following his troubles with the law.

But it was following his match that Jon Jones threw down the challenge to the former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar by taking the mike and saying “Brock Lesnar, if you want to know what it feels like to get your ass kicked by a guy that weighs 40 pounds less than you, come meet me in the octagon.”

It had just been reported that Brock Lesnar has put his name on the U.S.A.D.A., the anti-doping agency the Ultimate Fighting Championship uses, pool.

Following the call out the UFC commentators Joe Rogan, Dominick Cruz and Jon Anik looked extremely excited, and Rogan pointed out that they have a show available for November where this Super Fight could headline the card.

What added more fuel to the fire was Brock’s response to Jones who sneered at the call out and said, “Be careful what you wish for, young man.”

But this fight is yet to be made by the UFC because of U.S.A.D.A. testing which is a long and drawn out process and especially because of the infractions on the Lesnar in his last fight against Mark Hunt. Many have said this fight could only take place in the summer of next year, while others are hoping that this fight is made for the big, end of the year card which UFC historically pulls out all the stops for.

Whatever the case the fight fans around the world are amped for this Super Fight and his advocate Paul Heyman, The Rock and even legends like Randy couture (Actor of Expendables movie Franchise and Former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion) are weighing in on it.
