Drum Roll Please, House Arrest!
Phil Rudd, the former AC/DC drummer has been sentenced to eight months of house detention for drug possession and making threats to kill. Following the failure of his solo album, Head Job, he had fired several employees. Allegedly, a month later he telephoned an associate in Australia saying he wanted one of the former employees “taken care of”. When the police went to question him over the threats they found a stash of marijuana and meth. He will serve the sentence at his beachfront home in Tauranga, New Zealand.
