Festive Cocktails

The festive season is upon us and it is all about forgetting your worries, letting your hair down and just enjoying the moment with your loved ones. Since we are a firm believer of the fact that there is no better way to get in the festive mood than chugging on some delicious cocktails, here are some yummy, festive cocktails that will get your party started. After all, every once in a while you need to indulge in something addictive, it might as well be festive.

Tom Yam

INGREDIENTS 

Vodka: 40 ml
Kaffir lime leaf infused: 15 ml 
coconut liqueur 
Galangal juice: 7.5 ml
Lime: 15 ml
Lemongrass cordial: 10 ml
Thai chilli tincture: 3 drops

METHOD

Shake all the ingredients and strain into ceramic cup over a coconut water ice sphere.
Garnish with lime leaf dusted with red peppercorns.

Tamashii 

INGREDIENTS 

Gin: 50 ml
Sake: 20 ml
Litchi juice: 45 ml
Cucumber: 12 ml
Yuzu: 30 ml
A dash of pineapple
Peeled com code orange

METHOD

Muddle the com code orange and then mix all the ingredients together and shake.
Double strain the concoction and dry shake again.
Serve it in a champagne flute and finish it with an edible flower and an Orizuru.

Mango Jalapeno Margarita

INGREDIENTS 

Jalapeno infused Tequila: 60 ml
Mango pulp: 15 ml
Lime juice: 15 ml
For garnishing: jalapeno slice, salt on the rim

METHOD

Rub the rim of the glass with a lime slice to make the salt stick to it. 
Shake the other ingredients with ice, and then carefully pour into a  glass (taking care not to dislodge any salt).
Garnish with jalapeno and strain in the glass.
