You are one of the most famous movie stars in the world. Is it true that you want to direct and produce a lot more movies though?
It’s no secret that I want to spend a bit more time on the other side of the camera. I love acting, but I also love the whole film making process. It’s certainly something I want to do a lot more of in the future.
You produced American Sniper. It’s such a serious subject matter. How important was it for you to get it right?
We knew we had to get this right. We had to get it right for the memory of Chris, for his wife, for his family. What mattered to me was that they should approve; and thankfully they did. I got to speak to Chris once on the phone before he was killed–and I am so appreciative that I got that chance.
