Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 3 Trailer Is Out
Marvel shows have found a dedicated fan following on Netflix, as fans love to see numerous comicbook characters getting fulfilling story arcs over multiple seasons. However, now that Disney has decided to launch its own streaming platform, it wasn't a big surprise to see all our favourite shows getting cancelled one by one. The only one still standing is Jessica Jones, and if the newly released trailer for Season 3 is any indication, it won't be for long.
Yes, you heard it right, the trailer for the final season of Jessica Jones is out, and we have a brand new villain who wants Jessica to die. He is a serial killer by the name of Gregory Salinger, and is being played by Jeremy Bobb. If the name sounds familiar, then take a few geek points for yourself, as he is a well known Marvel vigilante, known as Foolkiller.
He is supposed to be smarter than both Jessica and Trish (Rachael Taylor) combined, according to Jessica herself. Unfortunately, his smarts lead him to get representation from high-powered lawyer Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss), much to Jessica's disgust. This setup points to a multi-layered battle, where Jessica can't rely on her strength alone.
We also get to see how Trish is coping with her new powers and the loss of her mother, as she tries to forgive and help Jessica, while also searching for her own superhero identity. This struggle with identity and legacy also haunts Jeri, who is dealing with her own battle with ALS. These three women seemingly represent the centre of the conflict, with Gregory playing the role of the catalyst and final target.
We can't wait to see how all of this unfolds, when the season is released on June 14, but for now, all we have is the trailer, so enjoy.
